Ah where did you go
The weather that so joyed me?
Why do you hide from me
Hiding behind heated rain?

Why try to hide that winter is coming?
Why hide the holiday cheer?
Just because they say another month
Why do you pay them any mind?

Ah just come with your sweet scents
The ones that warm me smell alone.
Give me contrast to the comfy indoors
With the crisp, chilly outdoors.

Come already Christmas! Come!
For your time spent here brings much joy!
Come with your laughter and songs
And lighten my heart with your holiday cheer!
